  Is Stephen Lett an alien imitation?

  i've been watching quite a bit of gb member stephen lett on youtube recently (no, i'm not thinking of going back to the jws).. i just find him compulsive viewing, like when people slow down to see a car crash.

  i find his facial expressions and intonation spell-binding.. it reminds me a bit of john carpenter's the thing, a film where an alien life-form infects a host and imitates it, spreading throughout camps of remote workers in the antarctic.

  if i were a bethelite living in close proximity to lett, i'd be thinking about giving him the blood test to see if he was normal, lol.. why does lett speak in public the way he does?

  M. Applewhite leader of the Heaven's gate cult. Mr. Applewhite was able to stare and talk for a long time without blinking his eyes. Lett and Applewhite personalities is uncanny, both strange men.I would love to face Lett and tell him, you are so full of sh---t, you are disgusting....

  so noah was a preacher of righteousness.

  than how did he warn other pockets of civilizations that were hundreds or thousands of miles away?

  and if they were destroyed anyway i thought jehovah only acts after he gives clear warning.. and if there were no other civilzations why the need to destroy the entire earth of every living creature?

  Two questions "what did it accomplish, did it make the world safer"? One moment God amused himself by watching mankind tread water how long can they last, babies included. And then later he tell mankind to turn the other cheek, don't follow my example but love your enemy. I guess he has a senior moment later because he goes back to his old ways in Rev. The day for a mass BBQ, , we will be incinerated...

  River flowing from the garden of Eden

  hey there.. if this point has been covered before please forgive me.. i have had the principles of noahs flood used by jw's to encourage me to attend meetings recently and this has got me musing about the flood....again.. genesis states that a river flowed from eden and branched out into four rivers, two of which being the tigris and the euphrates.. heres the baffling part; if it had never rained before, how is it that rivers existed before the flood?!!?.

  a brief google search tells us that the euphrates begins its journey as snow melt and rain ( as most rivers do) in mountains in turkey.. ecc chapter 1 mentions the water cycle and describes the rivers flowing into the sea but the sea not becoming full.

  how did it work pre-flood?

  One day it started raining, little bitty stinging rain and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night...Great movie. The funny thing about this story,Tigers and the Euphrates have their headwaters in the area surrounding Mt. Ararat and after sailing around for one year Noah ends up in the same area.

  When I was a child sitting in church Sunday morning (Baptist church) a man stood up during service and yelled," what you are preaching is a lie, you are all mislead. They eventually walked him out and service continued. It's funny I remember that, the man was either mentally off or it was said he was studying with JW but he accomplished nothing.It would have the same effect if I strolled into a KKK meeting and told everyone present, where are the white women It would confirm what they believe...They would only view you as, see what happen when you leave Jehovah.......

  Talked to a JW at a literature stand today

  guys,.

  i need your help in trying to wrap my head around this strange experience i had today talking with a jw lady sitting at a literature table in a busy outdoor shopping center.. i'm a very shy person, but i always wanted to ask these jws at their literature stands questions to start them thinking about the validity of watchtower teaching.

  i finally mustered my strength today to talk to this jw lady.
